I am a super-fan of makeup, but I’m also very budget contentious. It’s absolutely possibly to achieve that perfect natural healthy skin look with out feeling guilty every time you see your bank balance. I do like to splurge from time to time but these are my favorites on a budget.
I’ve tried several foundations over the years, and this one has worked the best for me. I have oily/combo skin and this will keep me matte/natural glow all day with out feeling greasy. I like to apply this with my fingers. With other foundations I do prefer a brush, but I’ve tried this one with a brush, a sponge, and because of the tinnier consistency I find that I have more control with my finger tips.
This stuff is amazing for my under eyes. I have honestly not found anything even high end that I think works better for the price. A little bit goes a long way, and as long as I set it (with the next product) I find that it doesn’t crease or move on me.
Setting powder is a must, this is the NYX finishing powder in banana. I know, if you’ve never used a banana powder before it seems odd to put something yellow toned on your face. I felt the same way. But, it’s amazing. I just dab a little bit on a small brush, I use a fluffy eye shadow brush and it works great. Then just dab it under my eyes and on my T-zone where I tend to get a little more oily and my make up will break up a little more, and I’m good to go.
I am all about the neutral tons on a day to day basis, especially for work. This has everything I love with out being overwhelming in the morning and is great pigment payout for a super affordable product. Cover Girl- Shimmering Sands.
Milani makes some great blushes, this is in Luminosos and it gives you such a pretty glow. Peachy pink, it reminds me of Mac- Peaches with hint of golden shimmer (but not too much). Such a beautiful product and I honestly find myself grabbing this blush more than my high end ones!
Even though I’ve used the setting banana powder on my problem areas I still pat some powder and blend my blush, and then just set my whole face with some translucent powder. I have tried so many different ones and honestly, I can’t tell that any one is better than the other. This Cover Girl powder is an oldy but a goody. I remember my mom using this one when I was a kid. (I bet she still has this exact kind in her makeup bag today.) But, HEY… if it’s not broken…
I’m obsessed with lip balm/chap stick, and I have to have minty kind. This EOS sweet mint is one of my all time favorites. I always apply lip balm before any other lip product to make sure that my lips are hydrated. Otherwise things can apply patchy and not look as pretty.
Love, Love, Love the lip crayon craze! This is the Revlon Colorbust in Honey. Love the neutral-pink ton and is perfect for an everyday look.
